§ ABOUT OUR PLANS §


	You are guaranteed to receive high quality building plans
	that are professionally designed and will include the following details:


	COVER SHEET		FOUNDATION PLAN

	We provide general notes and design criteria as well as a front elevation view, a basic floor plan view, and square footage data.		This plan provides the foundation layout including footings, columns, beams, load bearing stud walls and stairways along with any required notation and detail. Foundation plans are drawn at 1/4" = 1' scale and can also be adapted to crawl space or slab foundations.

	DETAILED FLOOR PLANS		EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS

	These plans show the layout of each floor of the house. Rooms and interior spaces are carefully dimensioned and show the location of interior walls, doors, windows, stairway, kitchen appliances and plumbing fixtures. Floor plans are also drawn at 1/4" = 1' scale.		Included are front, rear, left and right side elevation views at 1/4" = 1' scale. All elevation views show proposed exterior materials and details including stone, brick, siding, vinyl shakes, etc.

	ROOF PLAN		TYPICAL WALL SECTION

	The roof plan shows a birds eye view of the overall roof layout including ridges, valleys and hips. The plan also show the pitch, or slope, of each individual roof face.		The typical wall section specifies the home's construction including insulation, flooring and roofing details. We also provide additional cross section drawings as needed to identify important changes in floor, ceiling, or roof height.


		Drafting Solutions, Inc. creates each building plan to meet, or exceed, average conditions and codes in the State of Illinois at the time it was drawn. Because codes and requirements can change and may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, Drafting Solutions, Inc. cannot warrant compliance with any specific code or regulation. All of our plans can be adapted to meet your local building codes and requirements. However, it is the ultimate responsibility of the purchaser and/or builder of the plan to assure that the structure is built in strict compliance with all governing codes (city, county, state and federal). Because Drafting Solutions, Inc. is not a licensed architect or engineer, your plan may have to be stamped and approved by an Engineer or Architect depending on where the plan is being built.
